One pair of women’s medium sized mittens, hand-knit with hand-spun wool from Lloyd and Ragnar, sheep rams featured in the book Keeping Watch. Lloyd, a white Shetland ram, was a calm, fatherly individual. In both color and temperament, Lloyd was the polar opposite of his companion Ragnar. The mercurial Ragnar, a young black Icelandic ram, was typically at the center of any disturbance in the sheep shed or pasture. Mitten purchase includes a photo and short “bios” of Lloyd and Ragnar.
