Processed wool is washed, carded, and sold in batts of approximately 12” x 18”, weighing approximately 1 – 2 ounces each. 

All processed wool is from the fiber of our own flock. The fiber is carefully washed and hand carded here at Shepherds Bay Farm. No chemicals are used in the cleaning of our fiber. The wool processing is done in small lots which cannot be exactly duplicated, so please order enough for your project at one time. We do our best to remove all the bits of grass and hay from our fleeces and processed wool, but we cannot guarantee totally vegetable-free fiber.
